About your next role
This role provides essential organisational and logistical support to ensure the REAL program functions smoothly and efficiently while empowering First Nations People.
- Maintain program calendars, schedules, and key milestone trackers
- Coordinate program activities, meetings, and workshops including logistics, venues, and catering
- Prepare meeting agendas, attendance records, and action registers
- Support the onboarding of new REAL staff, mentors, and contractors
- Maintain accurate participant, activity, and service delivery databases
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports for funders
- Raise and track purchase orders and monitor invoices in accordance with procurement policies
- Coordinate complex travel arrangements, including flights and accommodation for remote travel
- Act as a central administrative contact point for external partners and service providers
- Ensure records management complies with privacy, confidentiality, and funding requirements
What we look for
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or equivalent professional experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Strong verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within community services or NFP sectors
- Cultural awareness and the ability to work respectfully with First Nations communities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a distributed team
- Experience maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance or audit activities
Mandatory Requirements
- Ability to travel to remote ALPA communities via light aircraft or 4WD
- Compliance with aviation safety weight requirements (under 140kg) for remote travel
- Appropriate clearances and licenses as required for workforce compliance
